Little Artists
Little Artists is a comprehensive art program with a specialiazed creative arts curriculum designed by our resident Art Specialist, Diane Banks. Diane is currently working on her Master's in Art Therapy.
SPCC has the unique resource of an artist's studio dedicated solely to the purposes of the art program. Diane works with all of the classrooms at the center including infants. Diane exposes the children to a multiplicity of art mediums and forms. She also integrates art history and literacy into her arts curriculum.
Having a full-time art specialist helps our center to realize our vision of promoting a positive sense of individuality in our children through a community-inclusive, child-interactive, arts infused curriculum.
